MEET THE KIDS
Blue Heaven’s horses are your normal everyday horses! Our Director Carrie Perry has this ability to choose horses with the right temperament for Therapeutic Riding. Blue Heaven is proud to use Dennis Wright’s methodology in communicating with our horses. We have adopted the kind and gentle handling that Dennis Wright recommends. We have learned to not “man handle” our horses, but to listen to them so we might understand what’s up in their worlds.
Blue Heaven supports nine therapy horses ranging in age from 4 to 19 years old. We do not board horses or have shows at our arena. Our facility is strictly for the disabled and children at risk. We do have Dennis Wright trainings during the summer in our state of the art indoor riding facility. |
